COFCO SuZhou Biochemical Co.,Ltd. is a children company of AnHui COFCO Biochemical Co.,Ltd., which is founded on July 22nd, 2002， with registered capital at 20 million RMB, employing 616 people, locating at SuZhou Economic and Technology Development Zone, covering 360k M2 land, in neighborhood to 101 province road. Its utility system is built integrate.
With advanced import production line and DCS control system, it produces alcohol, DDGS, ethylene, ethylene oxide and fatty alcohol ether from corn, as one of AnHui Critical Construction Projecs, it is put into operation on November, 2004, as the only production line using renewable feedstock to produce petroleum-based chemical.
As the third biggest ethylene derivatives after PE and PVC, ethylene oxide, COFCO SuZhou Biochemical’s key products, is mainly used for production of glycol, polyether, non-ionic surface activator, polyatomic alcohol, ethanol amine, polyamine, hydroxyethylcellulose, chlorine chloride and other chemical products.
